La resistencia aumento tras la esterilizacion con autoclave. El cierre de la brida fue la parte mas debil.  los estudios de histocompatibilidad y de reaccion inflamatorio no mostraron signos de rechazo del material.  los resultados del estudio de la efectividad clinica del implante en el tratamiento de fracturas oblicuas de femur de conejo demostraron una correcta consolidacion de las mismas a los 28 dias de evolucion, con una funcionalidad correcta desde el primer dia. Los estudios histologicos y radiologicos confirmaron la buena formacion de callo oseo y la correcta cicatrizacion de la fractura en todos los casos los resultados de nuestro estudio concluyen que las bridas de nylon son altamente biocompatibles, su esterilizacion en autoclave es factible y constituyen un metodo alternativo del cerclaje de alero en fracturas
