As\u00ed mismo se analiza la expresi\u00f3n de este gen durante el desarrollo del sistema nervioso del rat\u00f3n aplicando t\u00e9cnicas de hibridizaci\u00f3n in situ e immunocitoqu\u00edmica. Se pretende identificar poblaciones neuronales que expresen el gen reg iiib durante el desarrollo. En paralelo,se realizan estudios con el producto del gen drg 3.2, dirigidos a conocer su patr\u00f3n de expresi\u00f3n celular y durante el desarrollo del rat\u00f3n. A fin de desvelar la funci\u00f3n de este nuevo gen, se ha dise\u00f1ado un rat\u00f3n transg\u00e9nico que carece de expresi\u00f3n funcional del gen. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la proteina regiiib no se expresa en motorneuronas espinales de rat\u00f3n en respuesta a una lesi\u00f3n experimental del nervio ci\u00e1tico. Durante el desarrollo prenatal, el arnm de reg iiib se expresa en subpoblaciones de motorneuronas espinales, tanto axiales como las encargadas de inervar las extremidades. tambi\u00e9n se detecta expresi\u00f3n en neuronas sensoriales de los ganglios de la ra\u00edz dorsal y trigemino, as\u00ed como en neuronas de los n\u00facleos motores craneales trigeminal, facial, hipogloso y espinal accesorio que contiene neuronas motoras de distinto origen embrionario. El gen drg 3.2, por otra parte, codifica una proteina nueva implicada en regeneraci\u00f3n de neuronas sensoriales primarias, expresandose en el sistema nervioso central en el desarrollo, disminuyendo sus niveles conforme avanza el desarrollo. Por \u00faltimo se presentan datos sobre la generaci\u00f3n del rat\u00f3n transg\u00e9nico carente de drg 3.2, que se caracterizar\u00e1 fenot\u00edpicamente en breve.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
