Milagros De <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se han obtenido un total de 46 nuevos selenitos, anhidros, hidrogenados o hidratados, de tierras raras, los cuales se agrupan en 10 tipos estructurales diferentes, no descritos hasta el momento. Las fases hidrogenadas se han aislado en forma de cristales unicos, obtenidos por aplicacion de un metodo original de sintesis que incluye la preparacion de un vidrio precursor y la sintesis pseudohidrotermal a partir del mismo, sus formulas son nd(hseo3)(seo3).2h2o y pr2(hseo3)2(seo3)2. Se han resuelto sus estructuras cristalinas, observandose que estan constituidas por el apilamiento de capas infinitas, en las que participan los poliedros r-o y los grupos hseo  y seo    , asegurandose la cohesion entre capas mediante enlaces de hidrogeno.  las fases anhidras se han obtenido por sintesis directa, o por descomposicion termica de las fases mas ricas en selenio o hidrogenadas, siendo sus composiciones generales r2se4o11, r4se7o20, r2se3o9 y r2seo5. Estas fases cristalizan en diferentes tipos estructurales dependiendo de la composicion y del elemento de tierra rara participante.
