Discutimos la fuerte no-linealidad de una superred de semiconductores y su influencia decisiva en la regi\u00f3n de conductancia diferencial negativa. despu\u00e9s, explicamos los principales logros de la espintr\u00f3nica en el transporte de electrones. Finalmente, discutimos los principales resultados obtenidos hasta ahora en la f\u00edsica de los puntos cu\u00e1nticos, destacando la naturaleza de tipo at\u00f3mica de estos dispositivos.  el cap\u00edtulo 2 explica en detalle nuestro modelo te\u00f3rico para estudiar las propiedades estacionarias as\u00ed como la din\u00e1mica de una superred de semiconductores dopada a la que se le ha aplicado un voltaje d. Las ecuaciones resultantes acoplan las ca\u00eddas de potencial y las densidades a trav\u00e9s de toda la superred. al sistema entero de ecuaciones se le a\u00f1aden condiciones de contorno realistas y se resuelve autoconsistentemente. Asimismo, deduciremos un modelo m\u00e1s simple que incluye dos coeficientes de transporte: la velocidad de arrastre y la difusividad.  el cap\u00edtulo 3 estudia el comportamiento dependiente del tiempo de la corriente el\u00e9ctrica a trav\u00e9s de una superred de acoplo d\u00e9bil. En el caso de dopaje alto, la fuerte no-linealidad del sistema se refleja en la generaci\u00f3n de dominios de campo el\u00e9ctrico.
