Se ha realizado un ensayo teorico de la respuesta del telescopio mediante simulacion por el metodo de monte carlo. Se ha llevado a cabo la calibracion de los detectores utilizados mediante una fuente de 241am emisora de particulas a, para determinar las caracteristicas de los mismos. Se ha realizado una calibracion de todo el sistema utilizando un haz de 32s incidiendo en blancos de au de diferentes espesores. Se ha desarrollado un nuevo metodo de discriminacion con el fin de mejorar la identificacion de los iones detectados.  los resultados obtenidos presentan una buena separacion de carga y masa para los
