Los objetivos planteados han sido los siguientes:  a,- poner de manifiesto en primer lugar la existencia de receptores muscar\u00ednicos en membrana plasm\u00e1tica de c\u00e9lulas epiteliales no diferenciadas y polarizadas frt.  b,- realizar la caracterizaci\u00f3n farmacol\u00f3gica de los subtipos de receptores presentes a prote\u00ednas g heterotrim\u00e9ricas.  para la consecuci\u00f3n de los objetivos planteados se ha recurrido a la utilizaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas de uni\u00f3n de radioligandos y estudio de la movilizaci\u00f3n de calcio intracelular tras la estimulaci\u00f3n de los receptores msucar\u00ednicos con el agonista carbacol. Los resultados obtenidos por medio de experimentos de saturaci\u00f3n con el antagonista 3h-n-metilescopolamina (3 h-nms), demuestran la existencia de una poblaci\u00f3n \u00fanica y no interactuante de sitios de uni\u00f3n, que se corresponden con los receptores muscar\u00ednicos expresados en estas c\u00e9lulas. La caracterizaci\u00f3n farmacol\u00f3gica en base a la realizaci\u00f3n de experimentos de competici\u00f3n de la uni\u00f3n del antagonista 3h-nms con los antagonistas selectivos pirenzepina, af-dx 116, hexahidroxisiladifenidol, 4-damp, himbacina y diciclomina, demuestran que los receptores expresados por estas c\u00e9lulas se corresponden con el subtipo farmacol\u00f3gico m3. Los estudios sobre movilizaci\u00f3n de calcio realizados demuestran que los receptores muscar\u00ednicos presentes en c\u00e9lulas frt se encuentran acoplados a prote\u00ednas g
