Prinstinamicina fue el unico de los antimicrobianos probados que no indujo un incremento en la actividad del leucocito.  este efecto inmunomodulador (efecto p.A.L.E.) Es debido exclusivamente al pretratamiento antimicrobiano. Aquellos antibioticos que presente un efecto p.A.L.E. Positivo tendran una ventaja a\u00f1adida a otras propiedades farmacologicas.  el estudio de fenomenos relacionados con el sistema inmunologico debe incorporarse al protocolo de investigacion de los
