Teresa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dsba es una prote\u00edna que pertenece a la familia enzim\u00e1tica trx de tiol-disulfuro \u00f3xido-reductasas, localizada en el periplasma bacteriano, y catalizadora de puentes disulfuro. La formaci\u00f3n de estos puentes disulfuro es importante para la adquisici\u00f3n de una conformaci\u00f3n estable y activa de un n\u00famero de prote\u00ednas extracitos\u00f3licas, entre las que se incluyen factores relacionados con la virulencia de bacterias como escherichia coli, shigella flexneri o vibrio cholerae.  previamente, en nuestro laboratorio se hab\u00edan descrito tres genes de salmonella (dlp, en el pl\u00e1smido de virulencia de s.Enteritidis, dlt y del en el cromosoma de s.Typhi y de s.Enteritidis, respectivamente) cuyos productos tienen la secuencia cys-xaa-xaa-cys caracter\u00edstica de las prote\u00ednas de la familia trx, pero que daba su baja homolog\u00eda (33%) con dsba supon\u00edamos que no correspond\u00edan con el alelo de dicho gen. Posteriormente, hemos conseguido clonar los genes dsba de s.Typhi y de s.Enteritidis, los cuales presentan una homolog\u00eda del 83% con dsba de e.Coli. As\u00ed mismo hemos comprobado que estos genes de salmonella son capaces de complementar las deficientes fenot\u00edpicas descritas en el mutante dsba::kan (ss140) de e.Coli, en cuanto a la disminuci\u00f3n de la actividad fosfatasa alcalina y glucosa-1-fosfatasa, crecimiento en presencia de sales de cadmio y zinc, formaci\u00f3n de biofilm y, parcialmente, la sensibilidad a dtt 10 mm. Por otra parte, hemos interrumpido del gen dsba de las cepas 5866 de s.Typhi y 366 de s.Enteritidis (que carece de pl\u00e1smido de virulencia), observando que estos mutantes presentan una disminuci\u00f3n en la capacidad invasiva y adhesiva en c\u00e9lulas epiteliales (henle-407) y en la supervivencia en macr\u00f3fagos (u-937).
