Dicha determinaci\u00f3n, empleando t\u00e9cnicas convencionales, conlleva errores dadas las bajas concentraciones a que suelen encontrarse estos contaminantes en el medio acuoso. Adem\u00e1s, esas t\u00e9cnicas son de larga duraci\u00f3n en cuanto al tiempo de an\u00e1lisis, e implican la utilizaci\u00f3n de disolventes org\u00e1nicos, en general clorados, que poseen reconocidas caracter\u00edsticas t\u00f3xicas. Esta tesis plantea la sustituci\u00f3n de dichos disolventes org\u00e1nicos por medios micelares,que son reactivos compatibles con el medio ambiente, en la determinaci\u00f3n de haps. Para ello, la tesis se desglosa en tres apartado.  en primer lugar se establecen las metodolog\u00edas para la extracci\u00f3n de haps contenidos en sedimentos marinos utilizando las t\u00e9cnicas de extracci\u00f3n asistida por microondas (eam) y por ultrasonidos (eau), haciendo uso de polioxietilen-10-lauril \u00e9ter (pole) como medio micelar. La determinaci\u00f3n anal\u00edtica de estos contaminantes se realiz\u00f3 por cromatografia l\u00edquida de alta resoluci\u00f3n. La optimizaci\u00f3n del proceso se realiz\u00f3 por medio del dise\u00f1o experimental. El dise\u00f1o experimental es una herramienta quimiom\u00e9trica de gran utilidad a la hora de encontrar el \u00f3ptimo del sistema. Una vez optimizadas las extracci\u00f3n de los hidrocarburos, con reproducibilidades obvias, se validaron las metodolog\u00edas desarrolladas con un material de referencia certificado, evidenci\u00e1ndose la viabilidad de tales extracciones, comparables a las que se obtienen con t\u00e9cnicas convencionales y empleando menores tiempos y reactivos menos t\u00f3xicos.  en segundo lugar se hizo uso de una caracter\u00edstica muy importante de los medios micelares: la preconcentraci\u00f3n por punto nube.
