<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Diferentes n-carboxianh\u00eddridos (ncas) densamente funcionalizados pueden ser obtenidos de forma enantiomericamente pura a partir de alfa-hidroxi\u00e1cidos mediante su transformaci\u00f3n secuencial en alfa-hidroxiiminas y alfa-hidroxi-beta-lactamas, seguidas de oxidaci\u00f3n de tipo baeyer-williger promovidas por hipoclorito s\u00f3dico y radicales nitrox\u00eddicos.  dichos ncas dan reacciones de apertura totalmente estereocontroladas y en condiciones muy suaves con alcoholes y alfa-aminoesteres para formar di y trip\u00e9ptidos conteniendo fragmentos de beta-hidroxi-alfa-amino\u00e1cidos que presentan grupos hidroxilo, amino y \u00e9steres protegidos de un modo diferenciado.  la utilidad de esta metodolog\u00eda, que constituye una aminohomologaci\u00f3n estereocontrolada de alfa-hidroxi\u00e1cidos, ha sido ilustrada mediante la s\u00edntesis de dos fragmentos protegidos del antibi\u00f3tico lisobactina, una s\u00edntesis alternativa del antihipertensivo enalapril y la preparaci\u00f3n de peptidos dobles del \u00e1cido 2,5-diamino-3,4-dihidroxihexanoico.  las alfa,alfa-dicloro-beta-lactonas se pueden obtener en un solo paso sint\u00e9tico con total diasteroselecci\u00f3n, dando reacciones de apertura del tipo o-acilo con alfa-amino\u00e1cidos.  asimismo, se presenta una metodolog\u00eda complementaria a los protocolos existentes para la preparaci\u00f3n de y-amino-beta-hidroxi\u00e1cidos y beta,y-dihidroxi\u00e1cidos que nos permite su incorporaci\u00f3n directa en p\u00e9ptidos sin la necesaria
