Para ello, se interpreta a partir del t\u00f3pico heideggeriano del \u00abfinal de la filosof\u00eda\u00bb (como metaf\u00edsica), y a la luz de corrientes actuales de la filosof\u00eda, en particular, de la hermen\u00e9utica. en este sentido, el pensamiento orteguiano se presenta como un pesar alternativo a la metaf\u00edsica, como un pensamiento orteguiano se presenta como un pensar alternativo a la metaf\u00edsica, como un pensamiento narrativo en el que se cuestionan los supuestos impl\u00edcitos en el pensamiento occidental (el intelectualismo, el optimismo y el eleatismo del ser) y en el que, a la vez, se asume que el pensamiento es un producto humano (ret\u00f3rico) y, por tanto, hist\u00f3rico, contingente. De ah\u00ed que, frente a la raz\u00f3n pura, la cual, al suponer que el pensar coincide con el ser fijo oculto bajo las apariencias, pretend\u00eda escrutar la realidad, ortega proclame una raz\u00f3n vital e hist\u00f3rica, una raz\u00f3n m\u00e1s amplia que comprenda el drama de la realidad radical vida humana.  en cada una de las tres partes del trabajo (la ficci\u00f3n, el artificio y la narraci\u00f3n) se argumenta que, en el pensamiento orteguiano, la orientaci\u00f3n se da en la narraci\u00f3n, esto es, el sentido, el ser (logos) se hace. Y es que el hombre, n\u00e1ufrago en la desorientaci\u00f3n radical en que consiste su vida (la vida biol\u00f3gica, natural, dada), no tiene m\u00e1s (re)medio que construir un mundo que lo oriente, y hacerse su propia vida (vida humana). As\u00ed, para novelarse a s\u00ed mismo, el hombre novela el mundo. Pero en cada \u00e9poca hist\u00f3rica el hombre construye un mundo diferente, por lo que el ser del hombre s\u00f3lo puede comprenderse narrando el drama de las diversas formas de orientaci\u00f3n. la raz\u00f3n es, pues, narrativa.
