En la primera parte del trabajo se ha analizado la log\u00edstica y el transporte en su desarrollo hacia la intermodalidad. Posteriormente se han estudiado las organizaciones portuarias, formadas por las distintas empresas y organizaciones que act\u00faan en el puerto, como una empresa integrada de servicios. A partir de definir esas organizaciones como unidad de an\u00e1lisis, se ha propuesto los modelos b\u00e1sicos de gesti\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de marketing y de mejora de la calidad para dichas organizaciones. estos modelos nos han permitido estudiar el marketing estrat\u00e9gico y operativo del puerto. En la \u00faltima parte del trabajo, se ha realizado un estudio emp\u00edrico en el que hemos analizado la situaci\u00f3n de desarrollo actual del marketing y la calidad en los principales puertos espa\u00f1oles e internacionales, obteniendo informaci\u00f3n de las opiniones de sus directores comerciales acerca del futuro del marketing y de los sistemas de gesti\u00f3n de la calidad en sus
