Para ello se ha realizado una minuciosa revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica, se ha construido un prototipo de laboratorio y se han buscado modos novedosos para poder caracterizarlo.  se ha realizado un estudio comparativo de distintos modos de modelizaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica basados en m\u00e9todos existentes en la bibliograf\u00eda, revisados a la luza de las posibles aplicaciones industriales de estas m\u00e1quinas. el valor del estudio ha sido reconocido con un premio otorgado en el ldia2001 (linear drives for indutry applications), \u00fanico congreso internacional espec\u00edfico sobre actuadores lineales, que tuvo lugar en la ciudad de nagano, jap\u00f3n, en octubre del 2001.  una vez centrada la modelizaci\u00f3n de las m\u00e1quinas lineales de inducci\u00f3n, se han aplicado las principales estrategias de control al prototipo, con el objetivo de constatar los distintos problemas que conlleva su implementaci\u00f3n en m\u00e1quinas lineales. Se aportan los resultados de distintos ensayos de control en velocidad y posici\u00f3n, as\u00ed como criterios de comparaci\u00f3n entre controles.  por \u00faltimo, y en funci\u00f3n de toda la informaci\u00f3n de caracterizaci\u00f3n y control del prototipo construido, se proponen ciertas consideraciones para el dise\u00f1o de este tipo de accionamientos, as\u00ed como criterios para
