revisa la posici\u00f3n de las mujeres en las diferentes sociedades y culturas del pasado y se lleva a cabo una indagaci\u00f3n en los textos y documentaci\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica y visual sobre los vestigios de la participaci\u00f3n de las mujeres en las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas.  a partir del arte medieval se constata la existencia de las mujeres en la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica en espa\u00f1a a trav\u00e9s de la documentaci\u00f3n escrita y la visual intentando rescatar del olvido tanto los nombres como las posibles obras de artistas espa\u00f1olas del pasado.  se analiza en profundidad la situaci\u00f3n de las artistas espa\u00f1olas en el siglo xx y con especial \u00e9nfasis desde los a\u00f1os 70 a los 90, tratando de extraer conclusiones sobre las repercusiones de su trabajo en la sociedad y la receptividad que \u00e9sta tiene de su trabajo; se proponen asimismo diversas cuestiones sore el arte realizado por mujeres, tratando de reflesionar sobre su semejanza o divergencia en relaci\u00f3n al arte realizado por hombres, si posee caracter\u00edsticas espec\u00edficas o no, si las mujeres deben utilizar los mismos canales expresivos, etc., Tratando de
