El estudio de la imagen que gu\u00eda o se (re)produce en las operaciones traductoras se realiza sobre un repertorio de traducciones que muestra las relaciones de interferencia entre estas dos culturas.  siguiendo algunos principios de la teor\u00eda de los polisistemas, se estudia el papel del producto, productor, mercado y consumidor en estas relaciones de interferencia. Tambi\u00e9n de acuerdo con los m\u00e9todos de la imgalog\u00eda, se se\u00f1alan estereotipos y modelos culturales que dominan la cultura receptora. as\u00ed se explican los criterios ideol\u00f3gicos, claramente imperialistas, a los que obedece la selecci\u00f3n de obras para la traducci\u00f3n y la operaci\u00f3n traductiva misma.  efectivamente, francia en esta \u00e9poca se acoge a la bandera de la misi\u00f3n civilizadora para realizar sus objetivos pol\u00edticos, empezando por las \u00e9lites intelectuales y religiosas ya influidas por los principios europeos. Esta imagen \u00abcolonialista\u00bb coexiste con otra \u00aborientalista\u00bb que sobrevive desde tiempos pasados. As\u00ed, la tesis analiza los desplazamientos de tres corpus canonizados en el sistema franc\u00e9s que corresponden a tres \u00e9pocas y a tres im\u00e1genes de oriente medio: las obras de ficci\u00f3n desde el s.
