Rosa De La <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta tesis trata sobre el estudio de los efectos de la radiaci\u00f3n uv sobre ecosistemas epil\u00edticos en zonas de monta\u00f1a a una altura de 2000 m, concretamente en la sierra de gredos, donde se realiz\u00f3 una monitorizaci\u00f3n de radiaci\u00f3n uv para estimar la climatolog\u00eda uv en dos \u00e1reas seleccionadas, durante la estaci\u00f3n de crecimiento. La especie seleccionada, rhizocarpon geographicum, coloniza la superficie de las rocas, necesitando 95 d\u00edas como m\u00ednimo libres de nieve (sancho et al. 2001).  los resultados obtenidos desde 1998 hasta el a\u00f1o 2001 han aportado una base indispensable para el desarrollo adicional de dos aspectos principales y diferentes:  1,- la aplicaci\u00f3n, desarrollo y mejoras de una metodolog\u00eda basada en el monitoreo de la radiaci\u00f3n uv y de la microclimatolog\u00eda paralelamente, aportando datos relevantes sobre el impacto de la radiaci\u00f3n uv sobre el ecosistema epil\u00edtico durante una estaci\u00f3n de crecimiento.  2,- el estudio de los efectos de la radiaci\u00f3n uv en ecosistemas epil\u00edticos de alta monta\u00f1a con aplicaci\u00f3n de la metodolog\u00eda anterior, basado en el desarrollo de experimentos ecofisiol\u00f3gicos en l\u00edquenes.  para determinar los efectos de la radiaci\u00f3n uv ambiental sobre la actividad fotosint\u00e9tica se ha registrado la radiaci\u00f3n uv en la zona experimental y directamente en el l\u00edquen, cuantificando la efectividad uv biol\u00f3gica y compar\u00e1ndola con medidas f\u00edsicas realizadas de forma simult\u00e1nea. La irradiancia biol\u00f3gica uv efectiva se midi\u00f3 con el sistema biofilm del dlr (quintern et al. 1992, horneck et al. 1996) y con un dos\u00edmetro electr\u00f3nico (opt\u00f3metro giga-herzt).
