Las tecnolog\u00edas aplicadas en este campo no s\u00f3lo deben satisfacer los requisitos econ\u00f3micos sino que adem\u00e1s deben cumplir con los modernos est\u00e1ndares medioambientales. Actualmente, s\u00f3lo el proceso nmmo, basado en el uso del disolvente n-\u00f3xido de n-metilmorfolina hidratado, ofrece una alternativa comercialmente viable entre los diferentes m\u00e9todos existentes de producci\u00f3n de fibras de celulosa regenerada a partir de disolventes org\u00e1nicos. El producto obtenido ha aparecido en el mercado con el nombre gen\u00e9rico de lyocell (cly), ofreciendo, sobre la fibra viscosa, un proceso de producci\u00f3n m\u00e1s sencillo y respetuoso con el medio ambiente.  debido a la reciente aparici\u00f3n de las fibras de lyocell en el mercado, se han suscitado una serie de inc\u00f3gnitas respecto tanto de su estructura como de su comportamiento en las condiciones de trabajo y\/o utilizaci\u00f3n. por esta raz\u00f3n, en la presente tesis se ha realizado la caracterizaci\u00f3n estructural de la fibra de lyocell, mediante la t\u00e9cnicas de espectroscop\u00eda infrarroja por transformada de fourier (ft-ir) y an\u00e1lisis t\u00e9rmico por calorimetr\u00eda diferencial (dsc) y termogravimetr\u00eda (tg). Por otra parte, tambi\u00e9n se ha evaluado el comportamiento f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmico a la absorci\u00f3n de colorantes directos, as\u00ed como la resistencia de esta fibra frente a la hidr\u00f3lisis enzim\u00e1tica con celulasas y a los procesos de fibrilaci\u00f3n superficial de la mima.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
