Por un lado, se han explorado diversas v\u00edas de s\u00edntesis de aerogeles de s\u00edlice nanocompuestos con part\u00edculas de \u00f3xidos de hierro, empleando para su caracterizaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnicas diversas. por otro lado se ha desarrollado un espectr\u00f3metro m\u00ed\u00b6ssbauer utilizando un transductor piezoel\u00e9ctrico y un detector de estado s\u00f3lido en vez de los componentes habituales (transductor electromagn\u00e9tico y detector proporcional de gas).  los aerogeles nanocompuestos se han sintetizado a trav\u00e9s de reacciones de formaci\u00f3n de \u00f3xidos de hierro paralelas a reacciones de gelificaci\u00f3n a partir de alc\u00f3xidos de silicio en un medio alcoh\u00f3lico. Las t\u00e9cnicas de caracterizaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s \u00fatiles han sido la porosimetr\u00eda bet y la difracci\u00f3n de rayos x a angulos peque\u00f1os (saxs) por lo que respecta a la matriz de aerogel y la microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de transmisi\u00f3n (tem), las magnetometr\u00edas squid y vsm y la espectroscop\u00eda m\u00ed\u00b6ssbauer en lo concerniente a la caracterizaci\u00f3n de las nanopart\u00edculas.  se han establecido v\u00edas de s\u00edntesis de aerogeles de s\u00edlice con nanopart\u00edculas de ferrihidrita (fe5ho8.4h2o) con interesantes propiedades de cat\u00e1lisis y con nanopart\u00edculas de maghemita (gamma-fe2o3) con propiedades ferromagn\u00e9ticas.  el nuevo espectr\u00f3metro desarrollado es de dimensiones decim\u00e9tricas, lo denominamos microm\u00ed\u00b6ssbauer y se ha implementado en un criostato de flujo. en el desarrollo del nuevo prototipo, se ha caracterizado el comportamiento del transductor piezoel\u00e9ctrico utilizando el propio efecto m\u00ed\u00b6ssbauer. El transductor piezoel\u00e9ctrico presenta hist\u00e9resis en su movimiento.  esta hist\u00e9resis es medible y se ha analizado en funci\u00f3n de la frecuencia de trabajo y el voltaje aplicado. Aparte de esto, un simple modelo de oscilador forzado es capaz de describir su comportamiento.
