Uno de estos procesos es la morfog\u00e9nesis del ojo, donde el gen six3 de vertebrados desempe\u00f1an un papel esencial. En esta memoria se describe la clonaci\u00f3n en humano, rat\u00f3n y polo de six6, un nuevo gen de la familia, que presenta una alta identidad de secuencia con six3. Este nuevo gen completa la descripci\u00f3n de la familia six en vertebrados, lo que posibilita realizar un an\u00e1lisis filogen\u00e9tico detallado de la misma. estos datos, unidos a los de la localizaci\u00f3n cromos\u00f3mica de los genes six humanos, han permitido postular un modelo de evoluci\u00f3n de la familia six\/sine oculis a partir del ancestro com\u00fan de todos los bilaterios.  se ha llevado a cabo el estudio del patr\u00f3n de expresi\u00f3n de six6 en embriones de pollo y rat\u00f3n, comprob\u00e1ndose que se expresa en territorios de ojo desde estadios tempranos. En esta memoria igualmente, se describe la generaci\u00f3n de anticuerpos que reconocen espec\u00edficamente a six3 y a six6.  se describe la identificaci\u00f3n del tle1 y aes, dos miembros de familia groucho\/tle de co-represores transcripcionales, como prote\u00ednas que son capaces de interaccionar con six6. Las interaciones se han caracterizado extensamente y se ha extendido el estudio a otros miembros de la familias respectivas, describi\u00e9ndose que six6 y six3 son capaces de interaccionar de forma diferencial con tle1. Finalmente, mediante ensayos realizados en embriones de pez medaka (oryzias latipes), se muestra que tle1 y aes tienen efectos antag\u00f3nicos durante la morfog\u00e9nesis del ojo. Adem\u00e1s, tle1 es capaz de potenciar el fenotipo de sobrexpresi\u00f3n de six3 y six6, mientras que aes antagoniza dichos efectos. Por \u00faltimo se proponen varios modelos de modulaci\u00f3n de la actividad transcripcional de six3 y six6 por su interacci\u00f3n con tle1 y aes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
