La preparaci\u00f3n de los tamices moleculares se ha ensayado a partir de distintos carbones activos, esencialmente microporosos, mediante dos v\u00edas diferentes: tratamiento t\u00e9rmico de los carbones activos a temperaturas superiores a la de activaci\u00f3n y deposici\u00f3n de carb\u00f3n pirol\u00edtico por craqueo controlado de benceno, sobre carbones activos.  como paso previo a la obtenci\u00f3n de tamices moleculares, se ha estudiado la preparaci\u00f3n de carbones activos, esencialmente microporosos, mediante activaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de la lignina con zncl2. Se ha realizado un proceso de lavado progresivo en tres etapas del agente activante y de otros compuestos, formados durante la activaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica, que ha permitido analizar la influencia de la relaci\u00f3n de impregnaci\u00f3n (masa de agente activante\/masa de lignina) sobre la evoluci\u00f3n de la estructura porosa de los carbones activos obtenidos. tambi\u00e9n se ha investigado sobre los distintos complejos superficiales formados durante los procesos de activaci\u00f3n y posterior lavado y se ha propuesto un mecanismo para la activaci\u00f3n de la lignina con
