Adem\u00e1s se utilizar\u00e1 la microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica con microan\u00e1lisis para establecer los cambios composicionales y estructurales asociados al proceso de intercambio i\u00f3nico y poder observar y predecir los frentes internos de concentraci\u00f3n. Por \u00faltimo tambi\u00e9n se utilizar\u00e1 la espectrofotometr\u00eda de adsorci\u00f3n at\u00f3mica para medir la concentraci\u00f3n del metal en el interior de la resina y poder as\u00ed definir los factores caracter\u00edsticos del sistema.  paralelamente, se ha determinado la capacidad y las constantes de intercambio por m\u00e9todos convencionales. En particular, se ha estudiado el equilibrio y la cin\u00e9tica de carga de dos metales pesados (cobre y cobalto) en sistemas simples monomet\u00e1licos y en el sistema mezcla bimet\u00e1lico sobre la
