Las caracter\u00edsticas mec\u00e1nicas de un acero no vienen, en ning\u00fan caso, determinadas s\u00f3lo por la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica, sino que variando par\u00e1metros de procesado tales como espesores, temperaturas y tiempos de permanencia en hornos, es posible la obtenci\u00f3n de productos finales bien diferenciados; lo que adem\u00e1s supone un ahorro al minimizar el n\u00famero de aceros que tiene que fabricar la acer\u00eda.  se han utilizado dos composiciones qu\u00edmicas diferentes, con y sin microaleantes (ti, nb) que fueron coladas, laminadas en caliente y en fr\u00edo en las instalaciones de aceralia de avil\u00e9s. Se realiz\u00f3 un exhaustivo estudio de la influencia de los ciclos de galvanizado en continuo y de recocido en campana, empleando las instalaciones de simulaci\u00f3n de las plantas piloto (aceralia itma) del centro de desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico. Bas\u00e1ndose en las experiencias de laboratorio, se dise\u00f1aron los ciclos m\u00e1s adecuados para la fabricaci\u00f3n industrial de aceros de fase dual laminados en fr\u00edo y galvanizado.  las principales caracter\u00edsticas mec\u00e1nicas de los aceros tales como resitencia est\u00e1tica, fatiga, resistencia al impacto, aptitud a la conformaci\u00f3n y soldadura fueron
