(Syn. P. Acaulis), debido al inter\u00e9s de esta planta como ornamental, partiendo de un objetivo b\u00e1sico como es la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la floraci\u00f3n. del mismo modo, se ha puesto a punto un m\u00e9todo de regeneraci\u00f3n de las variedades de p.Acaulis danova roja, danova azul, danova amarilla, p.Polianithus amarilla, p.Polianthus, p.Polianthus rosa, pr\u00edmula doble y petunia hybrida grandiflora.  se han comparado el tiempo de germinaci\u00f3n y el porcentaje de germinaci\u00f3n, de semillas de diferentes variedades de pr\u00edmula, empleando tres medios base diferentes. El mejor medio de germinaci\u00f3n fue el compuesto por medio base ms, suplementado con 30 g\/l de az\u00facar y 7 g\/l de agar. La multiplicaci\u00f3n se ha producido a partir de explantes procedentes de cultivo in vitro. en pr\u00edmula el mayor n\u00famero de pl\u00e1ntulas se obtuvieron empleando como explantes \u00e1pices, de las plantas germinadas in vitro, sobre el medio base ms con una combinaci\u00f3n de reguladores de crecimiento de 2,5 mg\/l de bap y 1,5 mg\/l de iaa. En petunia, el mayor n\u00famero de pl\u00e1ntulas se obtuvieron empleando como explantes \u00e1pices, de las plantas geminadas in vitro, sobre el medio base ms con 1 mg\/l de bap.  se ha estudiado la estructura floral de las distintas variedades pr\u00edmula, obteniendo una misma estructura floral independientemente de la variedad con la que nos encontremos.
