Estos nuevos metodos instrumentales han sido empleados en sistemas estaticos, en sistemas de flujo, y en sustratos solidos de papel de filtro. Se puede resumir el trabajo en cuatro apartados generales:  a) mejora de la relacion se\u00f1al\/ruido estudiando como afecta el camino optico de coleccion y el camino optico de excitacion.  b) se ha propuesto la tecnica sers como un sistema alternativo para la deteccion e identificacion de sustancias prohibidas en el deporte. Se han estudiado mezclas binarias de drogas y el efecto de un electrolito externo.  c) se ha aplicado la tecnica sers a sistemas de flujos tales como fia o hplc empleando una celula de flujo abierta.
