Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La hexoquinasa pii de la levadura saccharomyces cerevisiae es una enzima fosforiladora de glucosa que adem\u00e1s de su papel en la glic\u00f3lisis tiene un papel adicional en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n por glucosa. Para estudiar los dominios que pueden participar en este \u00faltimo proceso construimos para estudiar los dominios que participan en este \u00faltimo proceso construimos once alelos mutantes de hexoquinasa pii. En la mayor\u00eda de ellos la actividad catal\u00edtica estaba directamente correlacionada con la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n por glucosa. Sin embargo encontramos dos mutantes (a1-15 y a476-486) que teniendo baja actividad catal\u00edtica, eran totalmente funcionales en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n por glucosa. por lo que ambas funciones, enzim\u00e1tica y se\u00f1alizadora, no est\u00e1n directamente correlacionadas.  la glucoquinasa pancre\u00e1tica humana (glkb) tambi\u00e9n tiene funci\u00f3n se\u00f1alizadora de glucosa. Su actividad es importante para el mantenimiento de la homeostasis de la glucosa en mam\u00edferos. Hemos observado que la glucoquinasa pancre\u00e1tica complementa los defectos de inducci\u00f3n como de represi\u00f3n en mutantes de levadura carentes de hexoquinasa pii. Lo que permite utilizar la levadura s.Cerevisiae como modelo celular para el estudio de la glucoquinasa pancre\u00e1tica humana.  hemos observado que el complejo fosfatasa reg1\/glc7 interacciona f\u00edsicamente con bmh2, miembro de la familia de prote\u00ednas 14-3-3. Bmh2 es una prote\u00edna que ha sido involucrada en la regulaci\u00f3n de la localizaci\u00f3n subcelular de msn2, un activador trasncripcional de genes regulados por estr\u00e9s. Nosotros hemos visto que la proteina quinasa snf1 participa en la regulaci\u00f3n de la localizaci\u00f3n intracelular del factor transcripcional msn2 convergiendo con la v\u00eda tor.  finalmente, para identificar prote\u00ednas que interaccionan con bmh2, realizamos un escrutinio de doble h\u00edbrido utilizando como cebo lexa-bmh2.
