Se propone que la formaci\u00f3n de estas cavidades es causada por la mezcla de fluidos hidrotermales.  se ha aplicado el transporte reactivo de solutos en dos dimensiones con el programa retraso a los yacimientos de tipo mississippi valley.  La mezcla de un agua regional y de una salmuera produce una zona de disoluci\u00f3n de un encajante calc\u00edtico en forma de v similar a lo observado en muchos distritos mineros.  otra aplicaci\u00f3n del modelo de mezcla se ha realizado para los yacimientos ligados a paleosuperficies, como el de rocabruna (pirineo oriental), de grandes cristales de barita en un karst de dolomitas c\u00e1mbricas. La mezcla una soluci\u00f3n diluida y rica en sulfato con una salmuera \u00e1cida y rica en metales reproduce la disoluci\u00f3n de la dolomia de caja, junto con la precipitaci\u00f3n de sulfuros, y la posterior deposici\u00f3n de sulfato.  con este trabajo concluimos que la mezcla de fluidos hidrotermales causa mayor disoluci\u00f3n en los carbonatos profundos que los modelos cl\u00e1sicos de reactividad de fluidos. Adem\u00e1s, el modelo de mezcla es coherente con las texturas y proporciones de los minerales, as\u00ed como con la forma, de los yacimientos minerales epigen\u00e9ticos encajados en
