As\u00ed esta tesis doctoral recoge la preparaci\u00f3n de las fases nd0.7-xsmxa0,3mn1-ybyo3 (a=pb, cd; b=fe, co, ni; x=0,0.35; 0&lt;y&lt;1) y sr2fere1-xaxo6 (a=nb, ta; 0&lt; x &lt;1) que presentan estructura perovskita y doble perovskita, respectivamente, y en las que el efecto magnetorresistente obedece a diferentes causas. Las t\u00e9cnicas de s\u00edntesis utilizadas han permitido obtener fases homog\u00e9neas y, en el casos de las dobles perovskitas un alto grado de ordenamiento cati\u00f3nico. Se ha realizado la caracterizaci\u00f3n estructural de los compuestos mediante t\u00e9cnicas de difracci\u00f3n de rayos x convencionales, sincrotr\u00f3n y difracci\u00f3n de neutrones en muestra policristalina. La difracci\u00f3n de neutrones se ha utilizado, adem\u00e1s, para obtener informaci\u00f3n sobre la estructura magn\u00e9tica de las fases nd0.7a0.3mn1-ybyo3 y sr2fere1-xaxo6. tambi\u00e9n se ha llevado a cabo un estudio exhaustivo de las propiedades magn\u00e9ticas mediante medidas de imanaci\u00f3n, susceptibilidad ac y espectroscop\u00eda de resonancia paramagn\u00e9tica electr\u00f3nica. Con objeto de estudiar las propiedades conductoras se han realizado medidas de resistividad en funci\u00f3n del campo y de la temperatura. en el caso de las fases de renio se ha utilizado la
