Cada locus est\u00e1 formado por tres genes, un gen regulador y dos estructurales que codifican la maltosa permeasa, prote\u00edna que transporta la maltosa al interior celular y la matasa, enzima que hidroliza la maltosa en dos unidades de glucosa. Estos dos genes, regi\u00f3n uas mal, en presencia de maltosa.  en la levadura kluyveromyces lactis, cepa 2359\/i52f, hemos encontrado dos loci mal, el locus mal2 localiza en el cromosoma ii y el mals en el iv y\/o v, es posible que existan otros loci. El locus mal2 conviene los genes estructurales klmal2i y klmal22, el mal5 los genes klmal51 y klmal52. klmal2i y klmal5i codifican maltosas permeasas, los genes klmal22 y klmak52 maltasas. Los genes estructurales comparten un promotor bidireccional de diferentes tama\u00f1o, io67 pb (locus mal2) vs i24 pb (mal5).  el an\u00e1lisis de la expresi\u00f3n de estos genes demuestra que es un sistema fuertemente reprimido en presencia de glucosa e inducido con maltosa.  el an\u00e1lisis de la secuencia aminoac\u00eddica del locus mal5 avala su no funcionalidad sin embargo hemos detectado transcrito de ambos, posiblemente codifican prote\u00ednas trucadas. El gen regulador no est\u00e1 localizado adyacente a los genes klmal2i y klmal5i como sucede en s.Cerevisiae, la organizaci\u00f3n de los loci mal en k.Lactis es diferente.  el promotor bidireccional klmal2i-mal22 es apto para la expresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas heterologas. Hemos producido dos al\u00e9rgenos recombinantes alta ip del hongo alternaria alternata y ole eip del \u00e1rbol olea europea, importantes para un futuro desarrollo de vacunas recombinantes. Ensayos con suero de pacientes demuestran que la prote\u00edna alt aip producida por k.Lactis es v\u00e1lida para el diagn\u00f3stico de alergia a a.Alternata.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
