El objetivo del trabajo es establecer la correlacion entre las alteraciones de la pared intestina y las fibras nerviosas de dicha pared durante distintos periodos de isquemia y reperfusion. El estudio se realiza en rata blanca, haciendo distintos grupos de animales: control; isquemia intestinal e isquemia mas reperfusion ( a los 30, 60 y 90 minutos). El estudio se hace sobre muestras de intestino delgado te\u00f1idas con la tecnica de tricromico de masson golner para el estudio morfometrico y con la tecnica de bieldchowsky para el estudio a microscopia optica de las terminaciones nerviosas intramurales. De los resultados obtenidos las conclusiones mas importantes que podemos obtener son: la altura de la vellosidad, submucosa y muscular se afectan mas conforme aumenta el tiempo de isquemia y esta afectacion se acentua si se a\u00f1aden tiempos de reperfusion. El tama\u00f1o del granulo apical de moco de las celulas caliciformes disminuye significativamente con tiempos progresivamente mayores de isquemia pura. Las fibras nerviosas resisten el da\u00f1o en los tiempos de isquemia pura y se afectan de forma progresiva conforme se aumenta el tiempo de reperfusion.  siendo las fibras del plexo de meissner las
