El an\u00e1lisis de su concentraci\u00f3n contribuye a la optimizaci\u00f3n de las dosis administradas y adquiere especial importancia en los casos de resistencia y toxicidad.  en este trabajo se han puesto a punto m\u00e9todos anal\u00edticos sensibles y precisos para llevar a cabo la determinaci\u00f3n de rifamicina sv y rifampicina, empleando t\u00e9cnicas electroqu\u00edmicas, como la voltamperometr\u00eda diferencial de impulsos (dpadsv) y de ondas cuadrada (swadsv), ambas con redisoluci\u00f3n adsortiva. Debido a la complejidad de las muestras farmac\u00e9uticas comerciales y biol\u00f3gica, se describen m\u00e9todos m\u00e1s selectivos para la determinaci\u00f3n de estos principios activos, basados en la reducci\u00f3n electroqu\u00edmica del complejo con cu (ii) o en la utilizaci\u00f3n de un biosensor como electrodo de trabajo. En todos los casos la optimizaci\u00f3n de las variables experimentales se llev\u00f3 a cabo mediante la metodolog\u00eda del dise\u00f1o de experimentos.
