Se estudia la construcci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes discriminatorias en torno a la india y al indico, para a continuaci\u00f3n analizar las propuestas mas comunes de su re\/visi\u00f3n; por un lado, la recuperaci\u00f3n de una vez nativa basada en la tradici\u00f3n oral, y por otro, teor\u00edas contempor\u00e1neas en torno a la deconstrucci\u00f3n, el hibridismo y la frontera.  una vez estudiadas las aportaciones y desventajas de ambas, se propone la metodolog\u00eda denominada \u00abpostindianismo\u00bb, que permite una aportaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s productiva de las obras desde la perspectiva de g\u00e9nero y etnicidad.  la segunda parte del trabajo traslada dicha metodolog\u00eda a otras narrativas de la autora nativa americana louise erdrich. Se trata aqu\u00ed la recuperaci\u00f3n de una voz postindia a trav\u00e9s de una re\/visi\u00f3n transcultural de los mitos de creaci\u00f3n nativos y occidentales, as\u00ed como de los s\u00edmbolos y narrativas que caracterizan a los nativos contempor\u00e1neos en estas obras, y que subvierten las oposiciones simples entre blanco e indio.  a continuaci\u00f3n se estudia el tratamiento espec\u00edfico del g\u00e9nero en las obras, que a partir de la recuperaci\u00f3n de la figura h\u00edbrida del berdache obliga a una reconsideraci\u00f3n radical de las clasificaciones de g\u00e9nero, y para terminar se analizan los distintos niveles de di\u00e1logo en los textos, todo lo cual conduce a una re\/visi\u00f3n productiva de conceptos de g\u00e9nero y
