Este factor se caracteriza por tener tres dominios estructurales: un dominio transactivador y dos dominios de uni\u00f3n al adn. La prote\u00edna pit-1 se expresa en el l\u00f3bulo anterior de la gl\u00e1ndula pituitaria durante todo la vida, y solamente en sistema nervioso central en etapas fetales. Ghf-1 regula la expresi\u00f3n de los genes hipofisario gh, prl y tsh beta.  el objetivo principal de este trabajo fue identificar prote\u00ednas co-reguladoras que interaccionen con el factor de transcripci\u00f3n ghf-1. Para ello, se construyeron dos genotecas de gran calidad de adnc de una l\u00ednea celular hipofisaria, una fenoteca en fago, y la otra en vectores de expresi\u00f3n en levaduras.  se seleccionaron tres regiones del extremo n-terminal del factor transcripcional ghf-1 para utilizarse como prote\u00edna se\u00f1uelo en el ensayo del doble h\u00edbrido en levaduras. Se identificaron m\u00e1s de 1600 clones positivos que interaccionan con alg\u00fan subdominio de ghf-1 mediante el ensayo del doble h\u00edbrido. Se confirm\u00f3 la interacci\u00f3n proteica in vivo entre las prote\u00ednas utilizadas como se\u00f1uelo y las prote\u00ednas aisladas de las genotecas de 180 clones positivos. se eliminaron clones repetidos e incompletos mediante los patrones de restricci\u00f3n enzim\u00e1tica. Posteriormente, se secuenciaron los clones positivos, y con la ayuda de programas presentes en internet se analizaron tanto las secuencias nucleotidicas como aminoac\u00eddicas de las prote\u00ednas aisladas por el ensayo del doble h\u00edbrido.  las prote\u00ednas aisladas fueron expresadas in vitro y, a continuaci\u00f3n, se confirm\u00f3 la interacci\u00f3n proteica in vitro e in vivo entre las regiones se\u00f1uelo de ghf-1 y las prote\u00ednas aisladas de las genotecas de hip\u00f3fisis y de cerebro.  mediante la t\u00e9cnica del doble h\u00edbrido, identificamos diversas
