La reaccion de de witting entre ribofuranosa protegida o o manofuranosa y un iluro de fosforo estabilizado por pirimidna, forma un homo-c-nucleosido ya funcionalizado, que en pocos pasos puede transformarse en una pirazolo-pirimidna. Se han empleado los iluros (6-cloropirimidin-4-il) metilentrifenil-fosforano. Se han determinado la las configuraciones an onopmericas y absolutas y estudiado la reactividad la reactividad de todos los productos descritos. Se ha realizado la sintesis del derivado de oxoformicina, 5-7-dimetoxi-3-(2,3-o-isopropiliden-5-0-tritil-alfa,b-d- ribofuranosil)priazolo (4,3-dipirimidina.
