Ortega Alvarado <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El diagrama polar constituir\u00e1 una teselaci\u00f3n del plano capaz de ayudar a la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas relacionados con \u00e1ngulos.  en el cap\u00edtulo 1 reflejaremos una serie de conceptos que servir\u00e1n de introducci\u00f3n para definir y desarrollar al diagrama polar.  en el cap\u00edtulo 2 se definir\u00e1 y destacar\u00e1n las propiedades de este nuevo concepto sobre un conjunto de puntos en el plano.  en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se plantear\u00e1n propuestas para la construcci\u00f3n de esta participaci\u00f3n del plano utilizando una serie de algoritmos eficientes que siguen dos de los paradigmas m\u00e1s empleados dentro de la geometr\u00eda computacional. pero como podremos destacar a lo largo del  cap\u00edtulo 4, el diagrama polar tambi\u00e9n puede ser asociado adem\u00e1s de a una nube de puntos, a un conjunto de objetos geom\u00e9tricos, adem\u00e1s de estar construidos sobre diferentes superficies como el cilindro. Las aplicaciones del diagrama polar, su principal justificaci\u00f3n, se ver\u00e1n en el cap\u00edtulo 5.  el diagrama polar est\u00e1 capacitado para ofrecer soluciones novedosas a problemas cl\u00e1sicos de geometr\u00eda computacional como la envolvente convexa o la planificaci\u00f3n de trayectorias. El desarrollo de esta memoria sigue con nuevos conceptos como es la definici\u00f3n de \u00e1rbol de dominancia y su repercusi\u00f3n en el tratamiento del diagrama polar, como veremos en los cap\u00edtulos 6 y 7.  esta nueva representaci\u00f3n considerada dual al diagrama polar, contar\u00e1 con ciertas ventajas a nivel computacional y para el desarrollo de algoritmos paralelos.
