Isabel Garc\u00eda Moreno <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta tesis nos hemos propuesto explorar nuevas estrategias para el dise\u00f1o y s\u00edntesis de inhibidores de glicosidasas altamente espec\u00edficos haciendo uso de factores como el control de la densidad de carga en la parte glic\u00f3nica del glicomim\u00e9tico, la posibilidad de fijar la configuraci\u00f3n del centro anom\u00e9rico e introducci\u00f3n de sustituyentes (aglic\u00f3nicos o no).  los objetivos sint\u00e9ticos se han centrado en dos tipos de estructuras: an\u00e1logos de calilsteginas y derivados h\u00edbridos de castanospermina y trehazolina. en ambos casos, se han puesto a punto estrategias de s\u00edntesis originales que permiten acceder a series de compuestos apropiados para estudios de estructura-actividad. La metodolog\u00eda desarrollada para la preparaci\u00f3n de los glicomim\u00e9ticos es eficaz y flexible, y posibilita la modificaci\u00f3n tanto de la configuraci\u00f3n del monosac\u00e1rido de partida como de la naturaleza de los sustituyentes.  la evaluaci\u00f3n de la actividad como inhibidores enzim\u00e1ticos de los compuestos preparados frente a diversas glicosidasas nos ha permitido poner de manifiesto la validez de las hip\u00f3tesis de partida e identificar inhibidores que no s\u00f3lo son sensibles a la anomer\u00eda, sino que exhiben tambi\u00e9n una alta selectividad dentro de una misma serie para una enzima concreta.
