Por ello, nuestro trabajo pretende llevar a cabo un estudio exhaustivo y sistem\u00e1tico de la obra po\u00e9tica de mario benedetti desde su inicio (1948) hasta el final de su exilio (1985), prestando especial atenci\u00f3n a aquellos motivos tem\u00e1ticos constantes en su l\u00edrica -el compromiso, la solidaridad, el amor, el paso del tiempo-, y a todos los acontecimientos hist\u00f3ricos, pol\u00edticos, sociales y personales que por su especial relevancia nos ayudan a realizar una interpretaci\u00f3n lo m\u00e1s detallada y pormenorizada posible de su poes\u00eda. De este modo, queremos demostrar el estrecho v\u00ednculo existente entre la obra y la vida de nuestro autor, entre su literatura y la realidad contempor\u00e1nea de su patria y su continente mestizo.  por lo que respecta a su estructura, el presente estudio se abre con una introducci\u00f3n que contextualiza la l\u00edrica benedettiana dentro de la poes\u00eda coloquial o conversacional latinoamericana, destacando los aspectos m\u00e1s relevantes de la misma. En el cap\u00edtulo inicial, analizaremos su primera etapa po\u00e9tica (1948-1957), en la que dominar\u00e1n los contenidos intimistas y el universo de la oficina; en el segundo, estudiaremos su evoluci\u00f3n hacia el marxismo (1958-1965); en el tercero, su reafirmaci\u00f3n marxista y su apoyo a la revoluci\u00f3n (1965-1973); y en el cuarto, su amarga experiencia del exilio y la dictadura militar (1973-1985). El quinto cap\u00edtulo estar\u00e1 dedicado al an\u00e1lisis formal del lenguaje y los recursos t\u00e9cnicos m\u00e1s destacados utilizados en su poes\u00eda, mientras que en el sexto reflexionaremos sobre su po\u00e9tica, sus influencias y su comunicaci\u00f3n con el lector.
