An\u00e1lisis hist\u00f3rico de la evoluci\u00f3n de la tipolog\u00eda de los asentamientos rurales y de su articulaci\u00f3n en el territorio, en funci\u00f3n de la distribuci\u00f3n y la explotaci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales y del reparto social de los mismos.  el estudio ha sido llevado a cabo utilizando los datos aportados por la metodolog\u00eda arqueol\u00f3gica, y el estudio de las fuentes escritas, la toponimia y la cartograf\u00eda. Para su integraci\u00f3n, an\u00e1lisis y representaci\u00f3n se han utilizado t\u00e9cnicas inform\u00e1ticas: bases de datos relacionales, sistemas de informaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica (s.I.G.)
