Una l\u00e1mina del material, sometida a electr\u00f3lisis en medio acuoso son soluci\u00f3n del pd, absorbe enormes cantidades de h, pero sus propiedades de dureza magn\u00e9tica se reducen en un orden de magnitud.  tambi\u00e9n se ha realizado una completa caracterizaci\u00f3n de bacterias magnetot\u00e1cticos, organismos unicelulares que sintetizan cadenas de part\u00edculas, de entre 30 y 120 mm, del \u00f3xido magn\u00e9tico fe3o4, magnetita. Se intent\u00f3 sin \u00e9xito alinea todas las cadenas de una muestra de bacterias, requisito previo para abservar el proceso de cambio de sentido de un momento magn\u00e9tico.  se han estudiado part\u00edculas de hematita, fe2o3  ferr\u00edtina, una prote\u00edna animal magn\u00e9tica. Se ha observado que el ritmo de relajaci\u00f3n de la imanaci\u00f3n hacia un valor de equilibrios es constante por debajo de 2k y hasta 100 mk, como resultado del efecto t\u00fanel del momento
