Ba2 es una bacteria aislada y caracterizada en el dpto. De ingenieria quimica, productora de la enzima l-aminoacilasa, aplicable a la resolucion de la mezcla racemica de dl-alanima.  la bacteria se ha inmovilizado por atrapimiento en geles de k-carragenina y alginato calcico. La optimizacion tanto de los procedimientos de inmovilizacion como de las condiciones de reaccion de ambos derivados inmovilizados ha permitido obtener un biocatalizador de pseudomonas sp.  ba2 inmovilizada en alginato calcico de elevada actividad y estabilidad adecuada.
