Se ha analizado la variabilidad gen\u00e9tica a dos niveles: a un nivel proteico, aplicando la t\u00e9cnica de elctroforesis de aloenzimas multilocus (mlee), y a un nivel g\u00e9nico, realizando el an\u00e1lisis de secuencias multilocus (mlst). Con ello, se ha intentando determinar la relaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica existente entre las distintas cepas estudiadas, considerando los datos obtenidos globalmente y por subrupos de poblaciones, para establcer la estructura poblacional y la diversidad g\u00e9nica que presenta v.Cholerae.  un total de 107 cepas de v.Cholerae, incluyendo 29 cepas pertenecientes al serogrupo 0139, fueron estudiadas aplicando la t\u00e9cnica de electroforesis de aloenzimas multilocus (mlee) para determinar la variaci\u00f3n al\u00e9lica de 12 enzimas \u00abhousekeeping\u00bb. Todos los loci fueron polim\u00f3rficos y se identificaron 99 ets  para el total de la muestra. No se detect\u00f3 una asociaci\u00f3n significativa de las cepas en funci\u00f3n de su serogrupo u origen geogr\u00e1fico. Se obtuvo el valor de diversidad g\u00e9nica media (h=0,50) m\u00e1s alto descrito para esta especie. El an\u00e1lisis del desequilibrio de ligamiento mostr\u00f3 una estructura clonal para el conjunto de la poblaci\u00f3n, pero cuando se estudiaron subgrupos de esta poblaci\u00f3n hubo excepciones, que hacen pensar en la existencia de un cierto grado de recombinaci\u00f3n. Estos resultados sugieren que la poblaci\u00f3n estudiada presenta una estructura poblacional epid\u00e9mica.  para una colecci\u00f3n de 29 cepas de serogrupo 0139 se ha realizado el an\u00e1lisis comparativo de fragmentos internos de 6 genes \u00abhousekeeping\u00bb, aplicando la metodolog\u00eda de an\u00e1lisis de secuencias multilocus (mlst). Los resultados obtenidos muestran la existencia de al menos 3 clones distintos entre las cepas analizadas, contradiciendo la actual hip\u00f3tesis monoclonal de est<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
