Carmona Mej\u00edas <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En embriones de aves y mam\u00edferos los tipos celulares epitelial y mesenquim\u00e1tico son responsables del establecimiento de un patr\u00f3n corporal b\u00e1sico y una correcta morfog\u00e9nesis. El proceso celular que determina el cambio fenot\u00edpico desde epitelio a mes\u00e9nquima se conoce como transici\u00f3n epitelio mes\u00e9nquima (tem).  en esta memoria se profundiza en la jerarqu\u00eda existente entre estos dos tipos celulares al describir y caracterizar las tem que sufren cierto tipo de epitelios durante el desarrollo. En los trabajos presentados se analiza con detalle la potencialidad de las c\u00e9lulas mesenquim\u00e1ticas derivadas del epitelio cel\u00f3mico esplancnopleural as\u00ed como su capacidad para diferenciarse en diferentes tipos celulares (endotelio, musculatura lisa  y precursores hematopoy\u00e9ticos).
