Por esta necesidad se plante\u00f3 el almacenamiento geol\u00f3gico profundo (agp) que parece ser la soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s viable, en el cual la bentonita compactada es la barrera de ingenier\u00eda o de material de sellado que proporciona estabilidad mec\u00e1nica a la c\u00e1psula absorbiendo tensiones y deformaciones. Los procesos a los que estar\u00e1 sometida crear\u00e1n un gradiente termohidr\u00e1ulico que puede generar mecanismos de transporte de sales y modificaciones en la bentonita.  el material utilizado es una bentonita procedente de la cantera de cortijo de archidona (almer\u00eda), es la denominada bentonita febex. Los ensayos consisten en someter una probeta de bentonita compactada a un flujo termohidr\u00e1ulico.  se han observado procesos de transporte de sales por mecanismos de advecci\u00f3n, dispersi\u00f3n y difusi\u00f3n dependiendo del grado de saturaci\u00f3n de la bentonita; intercambio cati\u00f3nico de ca2+ por na+ en el complejo de cambio de la esmectita; reacciones de precipitaci\u00f3n-disoluci\u00f3n de yeso y calcita, principalmente y, formaci\u00f3n de coloides. En general, no se han detectado cambios mineral\u00f3gicos en la bentonita, ni en las caracter\u00edsticas cristalogr\u00e1ficas y cristaloqu\u00edmicas de la esmectita. La microestructura de la bentonita se ve afectada debido a una disminuci\u00f3n de microporos en la matriz benton\u00edtica.  en cuanto a la longevidad de la bentonita se concluye que la bentonita compacatada no sufre modificaciones significativas en la escala de tiempo, distancia y temperatura que se ha ensayado en este trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
