Se estudian dos tipos de problemas: 1. Dada una clase de anillos c que contiene a c ?Esta rg en c? 2.  cuando r es proyectivo o plano como rg modulo por la derecha.  se obtienen resultados sobre la primera pregunta para las clases de anillos fbn, autoinyectivos, gorenstein y para las clases de anillos con dimension inyectiva, global o debil finita o menor que un cierto numero prefijado.  sobre la segunda pregunta se obtienen condiciones suficientes para que r sea proyectivo o plano. Algunas de estos resultados mejoran resultados procedentes de jondrup y kitamura.  el metodo utilizado para tratar los dos tipos de problemas consiste en una combinacion de tecnicas provenientes de
