La ocratoxina a afecta a la funci\u00f3n inmune aunque los datos de los que se dispone son contradictorios.  en este trabajo se han estudiado los efectos t\u00f3xicos de la ocratoxina a en la funci\u00f3n inmune. Para ello se han realizado un estudio de toxicidad a 28 d\u00edas en ratas wistar y posteriormente se han realizado diversos ensayos de funci\u00f3n inmune. Tambi\u00e9n se ha realizado un estudio in vitro en el que se han testado concentraciones de ocratoxina a equivalentes a las encontradas en muestras de plasma de animales del estudio a 28 d\u00edas. Se ha estudiado la respuesta proliferativa de los linfocitos t y b, la actividad de las c\u00e9lulas nk, la actividad de los linfocitos t citot\u00f3xicos, la respuesta de anticuerpos y la actividad de macr\u00f3fagos. Tanto en los estudios ex vivo como in vitro, la exposici\u00f3n a ocratoxina a disminuye la actividad de las c\u00e9luls nk, actividad de linfocitos t citot\u00f3xicos y la capacidad l\u00edtica de macr\u00f3fagos. En ciertas condiciones los efectos a dosis altas son distintos a los efectos a dosis bajas.  se han estudiado los posibles mecanismos de la ocratoxina a.
