Estos comprenden, desde la reproducci\u00f3n o el desarrollo, hasta la adaptaci\u00f3n al medio o la regulaci\u00f3n de los niveles de calcio, entre otras distintas funciones.  la prolactina se identific\u00f3 por primera vez en la adenohip\u00f3fisis de diversos animales en 1928 y fue purificada en 1932. La prl humana se purific\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 1971 y el gen se clon\u00f3 y secuenci\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 1984. La prolactina se sintetiza en las c\u00e9lulas lactotropas de la pars distalis rostralis de la adenohip\u00f3fisis de los vertebrados. En peces, las acciones biol\u00f3gicas de la prolactina comprenden desde la osmoregulaci\u00f3n al comportamiento, pasando por la reproducci\u00f3n o el metabolismo.  la somatolactina es una hormona perteneciente a la familia de la gh\/prl que ha sido identificada recientemente en la pars intermedia de la adenohip\u00f3fisis de los teleosteos. La funci\u00f3n de esta hormona en peces no ha sido aun descubierta, aunque algunos estudios sugieren la participaci\u00f3n de esta hormona en la reproducci\u00f3n.  el objetivo fundamental de esta tesis, por tanto, el desarrollo de herramientas bioqu\u00edmicas encaminadas a la determinaci\u00f3n, tanto cualitativa, de la presencia y niveles de diversas hormonas hipofisarias (somatolactina y prolactina) \u00abin vivo\u00bb en la especie sparus aurata (dorada). As\u00ed mismo, nos proponemos como objetivo la caracterizaci\u00f3n de las zonas promotoras de dichos genes con el fin de estudiar su regulaci\u00f3n. Para ello se plantean una serie de objetivos a desarrollar.  screening, clonaje y secuenciaci\u00f3n del cdna que codifica por la hormona somatolactina. Expresi\u00f3n y purificaci\u00f3n de la hormona sl recombinante. obtenci\u00f3n de anticuerpos absl mediante inmunizaci\u00f3n de conejos con la hormona recombinante. Desarrollo del ria hom\u00f3logo.  construcci\u00f3n de una librer\u00eda gen\u00f3mica de dorada.
