Se utilizaron tres cepas de ratones diferentes (denominados bab4, bab5 y lmb1), que fueron comparados con relaci\u00f3n a su respuesta inmunitaria frente a distintos inmunog\u00e9nos, tama\u00f1o y celularidad  de sus \u00f3rganos linfoides, y expresi\u00f3n del transg\u00e9n en suero y en la membrana de los linfocitos b.Encontramos diferencias entre ellos, observ\u00e1ndose que la cepa lmb1, cuyo transg\u00e9n se origin\u00f3 de pl\u00e1smidos solapantes, presentaba los menores niveles de expresi\u00f3n el transg\u00e9n tras la inmunizaci\u00f3n y menor n\u00famero de c\u00e9lulas linfoides. Los ratones se inmunizaron de forma repetida con c\u00e9lulas leucocitarias humanas y se generaron hibridomas secretores de igm humana espec\u00edfica dirigida frente a las c\u00e9lulas inmunizantes. se obtuvieron diversos hibridomas, muchos de ellos secretando igm humana utilizando la cadena ligera lambda de rat\u00f3n, y 17 de ellos, con kappa humana. se analizaron la capacidad secretora de estos hibridomas y la estructura de los anticuerpos secretados. La igm humana mostr\u00f3 ser polim\u00e9rica, con ausencia de cadena j de rat\u00f3n, y secreci\u00f3n de cadenas ligeras libres. Se caracterizaron en mayor profundidad dos de los anticuerpos monoclonales, denominados sm5020 y sm5431, analizando su capacidad de reconocimiento antig\u00e9nico y funcionalidad. Los anticuerpos fueron estudiados sobre muestras de sangre perif\u00e9rica, ganglios y m\u00e9dula \u00f3sea de donantes voluntarios sanos o de pacientes sin patolog\u00eda tumoral, as\u00ed como sobre c\u00e9lulas tumorales, tanto de l\u00edneas crecidas en cultivo in vitro, como procedentes de pacientes con distintos procesos hematol\u00f3gicos tumorales: leucemias mieloides, linfoides, mielomas, linfomas, etc..
