Ar\u00e1nzazu <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha identificado un putativo transportador tipo abc de erwinia chrysanthemi que se ha denominado ybit. El gen contiguo a ybit, denominado pab, muestra similitud de secuencia con prote\u00ednas de bios\u00edntesis de antibi\u00f3ticos. El mutante ybit (bt117) retiene toda la virulencia, pero muestra una capacidad reducida para competir in planta contra la cepa silvestre o contra bacterias endofitas. Por lo que, el gen ybit, juega un papel en el fitness in planta de la bacteria.  se han estudiado la respuesta diferencial de erwinia chrysanthemi ac4150 y erwinia chrysanthemi 3937 frente al estr\u00e9s \u00e1cido presente en el apoplasto vegetal. Asem\u00e1s, e.Chrysanthemi ac4150 no desarrolla una respuesta de tolerancia a \u00e1cido, y es sensible a diversos \u00e1cidos org\u00e1nicos.  se ha obtenido en e.Chrysanthemi ac4150 un mutante sensible a ph \u00e1cido (5.5) denominado bt119. La secuencia del gen interrumpio en este mutante presenta homolog\u00eda con el gen phoq de numerosas bacterias. La prote\u00edna phoq forma parte del sistema de regulaci\u00f3n de dos  componentes phop-phoq.  el mutante de phoq es incapaz de crecer en un medio a ph&lt;5.5, su nivel de supervivencia en medio \u00e1cido es inferior al de la cepa silvestre y es sensible a p\u00e9ptidos antimicrobianos.  adem\u00e1s es significativamente menos virulento que la cepa silvestre en endivia y en pera, y su supervivencia a corto y largo plazo en ruibarbo y mandarina, respectivamente est\u00e1 afectada.
