En ese trabajo estudiamos el efecto pro-angiog\u00e9nicos de ang ii a trav\u00e9s de una aproximaci\u00f3n in vivo e in vitro.  en el modelo in vivo del bolsillo corneal, la ang ii indujo una potente respuesta angiog\u00e9nica que se bloqueaba por el antagonista selectivo del receptor at1 (losartan) y no por el del at2 (pd123319). En una matriz extracelular tridimensional la ang ii estimul\u00f3 en un 25% la formaci\u00f3n de estructuras tubulares por c\u00e9lulas endoteliales de microvasos retinales de vaca (brecs) y potenci\u00f3 en un 65% las respuestas la principal factor regulador de la angiog\u00e9nesis, vegf. En c\u00e9lulas endoteliales del cord\u00f3n umbilical humano (huvecs) ang ii estimul\u00f3 en 35% la formaci\u00f3n de estructuras tubulares y potenci\u00f3n en un 90% las respuestas a vegf. Un segundo m\u00e9todo de experimental utlizando c\u00e9lulas endoteliales de aorta murina agrupadas en esferoides confirm\u00f3 los resultados mostrando un efecto pro-angiog\u00e9nico de formaci\u00f3n de proyecciones tubulares de ang ii del 318%. En la c\u00e1mara de boyden ang ii inhibi\u00f3 en un 20% la respuesta migratoria de brecs, tanto basal como estimula por vegf e inhibi\u00f3 en 24% la respuesta migratoria basal de huvecs y la inducida por vegf.  en la tercera parte del trabajo realizamos estudios de angiog\u00e9nesis in vitro con pericitos de los microvasos retinales. Los pericitos regulan el proceso de angiog\u00e9nesis inhbiendo la migraci\u00f3n proliferaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas endoteliales y delimitando el principio y el final del proceso angiog\u00e9nico. la ang ii estimul\u00f3 la migraci\u00f3n de pericitos en un 86% a 10-8m pero  este efecto se perdi\u00f3 a 10-4m. Las respuestas migratorias fueron inhibidas por losartan, pero no por pd123319. La adici\u00f3n de pd123319 a la concentraci\u00f3n 10-4m restaur\u00f3 las respuestas migratorias.
