Entre las caracteristicas mas destacables de la personalidad novelistica del autor, se hace especial hincapie en el hondo caracter mediterraneo de su obra y en el profundo sustrato cultural que domina toda su narrativa. Como punto igualmente relevante, se analiza el complejo proceso creativo de la fusion mitica, que sirve para actualizar y revivir mitos que yacen en el substrato intimo del hombre mediterraneo. En cuanto a la concepcion etica y filosofica de este autor conviene se\u00f1alar un especial interes por el hombre y su problemas, principalmente a la luz del existencialismo coetaneo.  entre los
