La exploracion realizada nos ha permitido obtener una amplia gama de conocimientos previos sobre cada uno de los procesos que intervienen en la nutricion y sobre esta funcion en su conjunto, que han sido clasificados segun el grado de articulacion que presentan en concepciones puntuales, esquemas conceptuales y modelos conceptuales. Los resultados obtenidos nos permiten afirmar que a pesar del estudio sucesivo de estas nociones, es muy escaso el numero de estudiantes que logra el aprendizaje de los aspectos esenciales de la nutricion, predominando concepciones alternativas.
